Hi, I’m Shelley, welcome to Country Blooms Flower Farm.

We’re nestled in the beautiful Tasman area, outside Nelson at the top of New Zealand’s South Island. I have been growing flowers for nearly 30 years.

To us, flowers aren’t a luxury. They’re a joy. That’s why we keep our prices fair, so more people can experience the joy of fresh, fragrant blooms, whether it’s a gift for someone special, a celebration or simply a little beauty for your kitchen table.

Nestled in the countryside, we’re hands-in-the-soil growers, devoted to cultivating blooms that stir the soul. Every flower we grow is chosen for its charm, its scent, and its ability to make everyday moments feel extraordinary.

We’re proudly fussy. Each stem is grown slowly, nurtured by the rhythm of the seasons, and picked only when it’s just right. We don’t rush nature, and we never cut corners because we know our customers care as deeply as we do.

My first step into commercial growing was with my sister, in a large greenhouse in her apple orchard. For 6 years we grew flowers together, then, in 2002, I found a 100-year-old farmhouse and two hectares of bare land and knew this was my new beginning. 

Flowers took over – in the best way! I expanded into more beautiful unique varieties, always chasing the romance of old-fashioned blooms.

Today I live with Teddy (my Golden Retriever), surrounded by the legacy of love, growth and resilience and, of course, none of this could be done without my team of wonderful staff.
